APA (Acquisition Process Analyst)
Responsibilities included:
• Provide centralized management and support for applications related to talent acquisition.
• Serve as primary liaison for these systems communicating requirements and managing priorities and queues.
• Work with users to ensure the currency and accuracy of all content on the systems, including applicant tracking system,

Continuously gain and understand the customers' operations and how
systems are used in support of their operations, transferring knowledge
to users and other members of the team.
• Provide front line user support on functional issues.
• Operate as functional expert for all talent systems and other applications assigned.

Take ownership of functional and system issues by identifying
underlying problems, analyzing potential solutions and implementing
system resolutions including workarounds.
• Obtain user/business consensus on projects and initiatives, shared data and content, priorities, etc.
• Conduct regular user status, collaboration, and planning meetings.
• Serve as centralized point of contact, communicating requirements and managing priorities and queues.
• Participate in the analysis and resolution of production problems.
• Monitor applications and web sites to ensure content is current and relevant.
• Innovate and introduce Virtual Edge enhancements and products to teams.
• Provide Virtual Edge reporting assistance to system administrators.

Work with others as appropriate to ensure that the shared systems and
websites are developed in collaboration and any enhancements and best
practice are shared.
• Develop understanding of relevant business processes.
• Define functional requirements for enhancements, fixes, upgrades, and maintenance.
• Assist in the development of business processes to leverage systems.
• Develop standards for shared data usage.
• Work with users to develop consistent standard for database content and graphics.
• Work with users and IT to select and implement new talent acquisition systems.

Responsible for ensuring that systems and enhancements meet customer
functionality requirements and expected business benefits.
• Perform unit and integration testing.
• Develop and execute test plans and scripts according to project requirements.
• Work with users to develop and execute user acceptance test plans and scripts.
• Manage user testing activities.
• Train super-users to use applications in scope.
• Develop documentation standard.
• Prepare application and process documentation as required.
• Document system functionality, particularly related to changes and new enhancements.
• Work closely with user groups to ensure a full, in-depth understanding of the business.
• Prepare project documentation, package selection recommendation and other project initiation documents.
• Follow all project management methodologies.
• Track user requests and record status.
• Work with key users and IT management to prioritize and schedule projects and initiatives.
• Communicate plans, status and issues to management on a regular basis.
• Adhere to department standards, policies, procedures and industry best practices.
