Responsibilities included:
• Responsible of MRP purchases for Reynosa Facility.
• Payment and credit issues.
• Reduce time of order placement as well to maintain constant pricing.
• Ensure that feedback supplied to key suppliers is as accurate as possible.
• Contact suppliers when discrepancy arrives.
• Place orders for new products introduction (pre-production).
• Develop new suppliers
• Visit supplier facilities
• Introduce and develop new suppliers
• Evaluate suppliers performance
• Machinery, Equipment and Spare parts Purchases
• Equipment, tooling packaging material, cleaning and office supplies, etc.
• Set and manage MRO Warehouse/Tool Crib Inventory Control
• National and international Purchases.
• Dealing with Europe, Asia and Latin American’s Vendors
• Sourcing Low cost Countries suppliers around the world that are certified in QS9000 and TS19649
• Negotiate prices and Long Term Agreements.
• Analysis of potential savings and revise these for approval.
• Responsible for development, approval and implementation of potential vendors.
• Working with commodities as electronics, fasteners, packaging, plastics, rubber hoses, metal and plastic fasteners.
• Set-up suppliers on SAP system along with part numbers and costs.
• Enter costs in system for new projects.
• Efficiently communicate at all levels
