Bill of Materials Coordinator (BOM) 

Responsibilities included:

•  Coordinate aspects of material management
•  Maintain and coordinate change control of manufacturing Bill of Material (BOM) within a MRP/ inventory control system
•  Monitor product and project change requests for possible impact on the product BOMs.
•  Support engineering as the internal customer to ensure the needs of the external customer
•  Assist in BOM generation and organization for New Product Introduction projects
•  Accuracy and data entry of finished goods Bill of Materials. 
•  Work with Item Setup Group to assure that the proper components are setup at the necessary  locations, and work with the  Purchasing group to Assure the components are cost correctly
•  Determine and set codes for each finished good (SAP)
•  Maintain proper version control over component revisions (SAP)
•  Keep current with recent Marketing or packaging changes and the impact on supply of material that this can cause.
•  Improve inventory position with regard to out-dated, obsolete, and slow-moving component inventory (SAP).
•  Revise inventory component for items undergoing revision to provide for proper inventory control
•  BOM modifications and corrections.
•  Review daily inventory transaction adjustments related to BOM errors.
•  Responsible for actualization, maintenance, and follow up different engineering changes as well as coordination, implementation and development of all Engineering Changes and Bills of Material.
•  Analyze, review and implement each one of the Engineering changes on database and make necessary changes.
•  Database administration on SAP and Obligato Systems to maintain engineering changes updated. Share/Publish information concerning engineering changes.
•  Date Implementation over engineering changes.
•  Prepare information for all departments involve in the matter (Engineering change) Daily Engineering meeting summaries.
•  Create different work instructions required for the position
